  A Pogs/milkcap game for the iPhone has been released, you can see a video of the game on youtube, or download the app from the iTunes Store.

  So far I've added the full set of World Pog Federation Series 1, Worlds Of Fun Hawaiian Milkcaps 4x4 Scrambler, and Worlds Of Fun Hawaiian Milkcaps Hip-Hop (not sure if this is the correct title of this series, but that's what I've called it anyway). More to come soon!

  The site design has been updated, and you can now click on the milkcap/pog/tazo images to open up a high resolution version of the image. The site has been moved over to a database system so you can now view and edit details about each set/series including which countries they were available in.

  There's probably quite a few bits of the site not working at the moment, please bear with me while these are being fixed.

  Due to the changes the images and forum previously on the site are not available in this version. However, you can still access the old site at v1.milkcapmania.co.uk. The new site doesn't have much content at the moment but will be updated regularly and will eventually feature many more sets/series than the original site covered, so keep checking back to see what's new (updates will be posted on this front page).

• 1^st May 2006

  POGs are back! Yes, that's right, POGs have been re-released by a company called Funrise Toys. The Official website is www.funrise.com/pog/, or the official UK website is www.funrise.com/pog/uk/. You may note that the 'World Pog Federation' is now the 'Global POG Federation'. In the UK only Series 1 of the new POGs have been launched. These retail for £2 per packet, twice the cost of POGs when they were launched originally. I must also say that I haven't seen them for sale in any shops, or seen any marketing for them. The original POGs were quite heavily marketed, being given away free with popular children's comics, cereals, and later various other foods. In the US there appears to be 3 new series available at the moment - the new Series 1, Marvel Series and NHL Series. There are also Metal Slammers available.

  There's also been a comedy animation produced to show alternative uses for POGs, which you can see at www.weebls-stuff.com/toons/pogs/.

  I have also moved the site to a new webhosting company, so hopefully the forums will be a lot better than on the old host. Grant Goldspink has also kindly sent me scans of some Mad Caps, POGs and other caps that I don't have. The scans were a bit small to put in with the pictures of the other caps, but you can see them by clicking the following links: Mad Caps; More Mad Caps; Various caps; American Games Caps; Random House POGs; Bad Boy Club Caps; Limited Edition POGs.
